No Deposit Bonus
A no deposit bonus is when the poker room gives you a small amount of money so that you can play for real money in the poker room to test it out without using your own money. Newer poker rooms especially will have no deposit poker rooms because they want you to give there room a shot and often the only way to do that is by giving you some free money to test out the poker room.

If you can find a poker room that will give you a reload bonus on every deposit then I would suggest sticking with them. You won’t find that many poker rooms offer reload bonuses often, but when you can get a reload bonus it’s suggested to take advantage of it.
Bad Beat Bonus
Some poker rooms offer bad bead jackpots where if you lose on a certain hand then you’ll win the jackpot which could be thousands of dollars. Not too many poker rooms offer the bad beat jackpot, but it’s a new feature that seems to be gaining popularity amongst the poker rooms.

Before the regular season kicks off in April every year for Major League Baseball many people who bet on baseball will make there biggest wagers of the year. The reason being is because you can bet on season long wagers in baseball and there is no point only throwing a small bet on it since it will take a full season to determine whether you win or not. If you decide to bet on any of the season long wagers in baseball I recommend that you make them your biggest bets of the season as well. For instance, if you bet $25 a game to stay within your bankroll you’d probably bet at least $250 on a season long wager to make it worth your time. World Series Champion
Betting on baseball teams who you think is going to win the World Series at the beginning of the season is a very difficult task, but it definitely pays out great odds and worth a small wager. I don’t suggest betting too big on this because the likelihood of winning the bet is pretty slim, but the odds make it worth a small bet. If you bet $25 per game typically then I suggest betting $50 on who you think will win the World Series. Odds are usually posted a month or so before Spring Training begins. You can also still bet on this during the season at most books, but the odds will go down after every game so it’s better to get your pick in before the season starts.
American League Champions / National League Champions
This is basically the same bet as above except you’re betting on who you think will win the pendant in the A.L. and N.L. which makes it a bit simpler then picking the winner of the World Series although not by much. Again this should be a small bet and no more then double what you bet on a single game because the odds are still terrible for winning because anything can happen during a long baseball season.
Division Champions
This is a bet where the goal is to pick who you think is going to win the division. You can bet on multiple divisions if you want too although I suggest picking the divisions you follow. This bet doesn’t pay nearly as good of odds as the above two bets, but the chances of winning the bet are a lot higher. If you think you can predict the division champion and feel strongly about your bet then you can make it as big of bet as you want since it isn’t that hard to predict this wager.
Single Team Regular Season Wins
This is the best season long baseball betting advice and I suggest laying a lot of money on a couple of the teams that you follow because it’s easy money if you use your head a little bit. The sportsbook will post a win total for every team and you need to determine whether or not the team will go over or under the posted total. If the Blue Jays total was 80.5 then they would need to win 81 games in the season to win the over or win less then 80 games to win the under. The Jays should definitely be able to win 81+ games which isn’t even a .500 record and thus is fairly easy money unless the team self-destructs throughout the year.
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is the most popular and most played poker circuit in the world and it attracts thousands of poker players and millions of dollars each year. There are lots of WSOP events throughout the year and many of them fetch a pretty hefty buy-in which is why we’re going to spend a little bit of time looking at ways you can get into a WSOP Event.
* The easiest way to get into a WSOP Event is to buy-in directly to the event, but this is also the most expensive way of getting into one of the WSOP events. With the events ranging from $1K all the way up to $50K+ you’re going to need to have lots of extra money in your bank in order to buy-in directly to the event. If you can afford to buy-in to the event then this is recommended since you won’t need to do anything, but if you can’t afford to then continue reading below for other ways to enter a WSOP Event.
* A lot of land based casinos and online poker rooms such as Poker Stars.com offer satellite events to WSOP Events and if you manage to win a seat into an event this way it’s the most feasible way. This is exactly how Chris Moneymaker entered the WSOP Main Event when he won the bracelet and you could become the next Moneymaker if you have any luck. Satellite events generally start running within a few months of the actual event date so that you have lots of time to plan your trip. One good thing about winning a seat to a WSOP event this way is that most poker rooms also pay for your accommodations, travel and even give you a little spending money while you’re playing in the event. Satellite tournaments can cost anywhere from a couple of dollars up to a couple hundred dollars so it’s much cheaper then buying directly into a WSOP event.
* Some poker forums and websites out there have what is called a staking area on the website which is where people with money will stake poker players in events. If you’re good at poker and you have the data to back it up from online poker play then you should have no problem finding one or multiple people to stake you for a WSOP event. Of course if you win money you’re going to owe a percentage to the person or people who stake you, but that is the cost of getting staked into an event. You have absolutely no risk this way, but for many poker players this isn’t the way to go. I find when I’m playing with other people’s money I’ll play a lot tighter and miss a lot of opportunities so I tend to prefer to find my own way into events.

Getting staked might work for you like it has for other poker players in the past, but if you know it won’t work then look at the other two methods of getting into a WSOP event.
Full Tilt Poker has a cool tournament style named the Matrix Tournaments which are becoming popular and causing some USA players to switch to the Full Tilt Poker room. The tournaments are ideal for players who have experience multi-tabling while playing online poker. If you haven’t played multiple tables at once before then you might want to test it out on a cheap tournament to make sure you can handle the different screens popping up all the time with new decision to be made.
The Matrix Tournaments are for nine players and instead of playing a regular nine player sit and go tournament you’ll be playing four sit and go tournaments at the same time with the same opponents. So you’ll need to be able to multi-task because you’ll be forced to play four different tournaments at the same time to see who comes out on top.
You’re probably wondering how the payout for the tournament works and it’s a bit different then anything else you might be used to. The prize pool is initially divided into five separate pots. There is a pot for each of the four sit and go tournaments and then a final pot for overall performance in all the tournaments. This means you have five chances at winning some money in the Matrix Tournaments and it’s surely an exciting change from regular sit and go tournaments.
The top three players in each sit and go tournament will win money from the pot for that tournament and then the final pot will be determined by overall point leaders. You earn points throughout the tournament for knocking out players and finishing in top positions throughout the four sit and go tournaments. You get two points for knocking an opponent out of one of the sit and go tournaments and you get one point for every one of the opponents you outlast.
With a payout structure like this it means if you can manage to finish in first place in each of the four sit and go tournaments you’d win the first place prize money in each one plus the entire prize pool for being the top performer throughout the entire tournament. You can make a lot more money in these tournaments if you can consistently finish in top places and knockout opponents.
The real difficulty is playing four tournaments at once and that takes a little while to get used to, but once you do then you’ll be set. With such high prize pools there is no doubt there is nice money to be made if you can handle the pressure.
